Your comprehensive ocular examination visit will begin with meeting our friendly front desk staff beginning with updating your personal information, insurance and completing a health questionnaire for the doctors. The optometric assistant will begin by performing tests which includes visual fields, auto-refraction, retinal photographs and eye pressures including a test that does not require the air puff machine some patience dislike. Our doctors will interpret your results and meet you in the examination room. Your exam with our Doctors of Optometry will include a series of health questions, visual acuities (near and distance vision), binocular vision testing, testing eye muscles, pupil reactions, ocular surface evaluation, retinal examination (dilated pupils necessary with consent). Following your eye exam, our doctors will introduce you to an optician who will give you a copy of your prescription and answer any questions you may have about specific eye wear needs.
